A CHARITY collection has netted more than £100 for members of the armed forces.

SSAFA, the National Armed Forces Charity, raised £147 during the 33 Field Hospital homecoming parade in Gosport.

As reported, the 200 troops returned from Afghanistan before they marched through the streets of the town.

Kay White, chair of Gosport, Fareham and Portsmouth SSAFA in-service committee thanked generous members of the public.
