HMS Dauntless yesterday became the first of the Royal Navy’s new Type 45 Destroyers to visit the capital.

She sailed up the River Thames to dock outside the ExCeL centre in London’s Docklands, which is hosting the Defence and Security Equipment International event next week.

She will be moored outside the centre until Sunday, September 17, and will be on show to the 25,000 visitors flocking to the exhibiton, which shows off defence and security equipment used on land, sea and in the air.
