BE TRANSPORTED back in time to commemorate 100 years since the First World War at a day of activities held at a museum.
Westbury Manor Museum in West Street, Fareham, is hosting a number of events to mark the centenary on Monday.
A 100-year-old J-type lorry will be on display and a working war recruitment stand will give visitors the chance to sign up for the King’s army.
There will be a procession led by the mayor of Fareham David Norris to unveil a World War One memorial. Events take place all day, starting at 10pm.
