THE wife of missing Gosport sailor Timmy MacColl has flown out to Dubai to join in the search for her husband.
Rachael MacColl, who is 25 weeks pregnant with the couple’s third child, has travelled to the Middle East with other family members almost four weeks after the 27-year-old vanished.
Mrs MacColl arrived in the country yesterday morning and plans to attend a candle-lit vigil for her husband tonight at Jumeirah Beach.
In a comment on Facebook group Bring Timmy Home, a family friend wrote: ‘Just wanted to inform everyone that Rachael, Sheena, Neil, Nigel and Colin have now all arrived safely in Dubai and have checked into their hotel.
‘They will be attending the Candle Vigil Friday so please spread the word as it would be lovely to have a massive turnout.
‘I know there will be a lot of questions but as and when updates come in we will surely update everyone.’
Leading Seaman MacColl was last seen on May 27 after leaving the Rock Bottom Cafe in Dubai at around 2am.
His ship, HMS Westminster, was alongside on a break from duties at the time.
She later sailed without LS MacColl to resume anti-piracy patrols off Somalia.
