Portsmouth South MP Mike Hancock has praised the Arctic Convoy veterans who have at last won their fight for a medal.
In a video interview with portsmouth.co.uk, Mr Hancock said that the failure by successive governments to award a medal was a national disgrace.
And, sitting with campaign leader Eddie Grenfell, Mr Hancock describes him as a hero and a gentleman.
