Navy hits the small screen

A NEW documentary on Channel 4 will shine a light on the gruelling training that navy recruits undergo at HMS Raleigh.

The programme, called Royal Navy School, will air on Monday and follows trainees as they begin their career in the navy.

Every detail of the recruits’ lives is captured on camera, from arduous physical training sessions and weapon handling drills to dormitory high-jinks.

The first episode is at 9pm and follows wannabe ratings on their first weeks at Raleigh.
