Plans for remembrance service

DETAILS of a village’s remembrance service have been revealed.

A parade will leave Horndean Scout Hut, in Queens Crescent, at 10.40am on Sunday, November 11, and march to the war memorial in the square.

A rolling road closure will be in place in parts of Portsmouth Road, London Road, Havant Road and Blendowrth Lane.

Traffic will be stopped to allow the service to take place in peace. Music will be provided by Blendworth Brass Band.

The service is organised by Horndean Parish Council who have advised that members of the armed forces are welcome to take part and march with the parade.
