HAVING recently graduated from HMS Collingwood, Able Rate Paige Shrimpton is looking forward to the next step in her military career.

The 19-year-old, pictured, has graduated as a warfare specialist from the Fareham base as she completed her Phase Two training with the Victory Squadron.

Now, she is looking forward to the next step of her naval career.

Paige, from Portsmouth, said: ‘My career highlight within the navy so far has to be completing my initial training at HMS Raleigh.

‘I now look forward to expanding my military knowledge.’

The former Military Preparation College pupil joined the Maritime Warfare School and undertook the Warfare Specialist Training Course to learn how to set up and operate the Royal Navy’s systems that provide information to ships on air and surface activities.

After completing the course, Paige will now join HMS Nelson before being drafted to her first ship.
