A ROYAL Fleet Auxiliary ship will be joining the fight against Islamic extremists.

Prime minister David Cameron revealed yesterday that RFA Mounts Bay will be deployed to stop the flow of weapons to terrorists in Libya.

The PM explained this would play a key role in weakening terrorists from the so-called Islamic State.

Mounts Bay is currently supporting international response to the migrant crisis in the Aegean Sea.
