SAILORS are running, rowing and riding the distance from Portsmouth to Bahrain and back.

The group from Combined Task Force 150, deployed in Bahrain, will run, row and ride around two miles a day to reach their target of 6,400 miles – raising £2,000 for charity.

Chief Petty Officer Andy Gibbs is organising the event.

He said: ‘This is a great opportunity to raise money for the Royal Navy’s charity partner the RNRMC whilst being deployed away from the UK.’
