The Royal Navy will fire a 21-gun salute tomorrow to mark the 62nd anniversary of the Queen’s coronation.

The saluting gun at Fort Blockhouse in Gosport will be fired at 12pm by four specialist gunnery instructors from HMS Collingwood.

Similar gun salutes are planned for June 10 to mark the Duke of Edinburgh’s birthday and on June 13 for the Queen’s official birthday.

The gun at Fort Blockhouse has been firing salutes since it was acquired in 1957.
