Terror concerns spark security drive at Hampshire ports

HUNDREDS of sailors provided an additional spectacle to a traditional ceremony at the Tower of London.

Around 250 sailors from Royal Navy ships, including Portsmouth-based HMS Illustrious, took part in the ceremony of the Constables Dues in the capital.

Commanding officers of the ships marched to the tower and presented barrels of wine as part of the long-standing custom.
