FULL savings in the Royal Navy submarine programmes will be ready by 2020, according to defence minister Philip Dunne.
He said the programmes would be in place based on improved commercial arrangements with industry partners.
He said three foundation contracts would be signed as part of the MoD’s Submarine Enterprise Performance Programme (SEPP).
He said: ‘The MoD is in similar negotiations with its other tier one industry partners in the submarine enterprise: BAE Systems Maritime - Submarines, and Babcock Marine.’
