SHOPPERS at Gunwharf Quays tomorrow will see 90 soldiers being presented with campaign medals for fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan.

The Thorney Island-based soldiers from 25/170 (Imjin) Battery, part of 47 Regiment, Royal Artillery, will receive their ‘Herrick’ operational medals during a parade at the shopping centre from 10.45am.

The troops will form up and march to Waterfront Corner in Gunwharf Quays behind the Band of the Royal Artillery and will wear the new multi-terrain pattern combat uniform.
