MEMBERS of the armed forces whose relatives fought in the battles of Jutland and the Somme are being called share their tales.

Serving members of the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force are being urged to tell the stories of their ancestors who served at the two battles as part of this year’s First World War centenary programme. The remembrance events are part of the UK government’s four-year programme to commemorate the First World War. Those with connection to either battle should email or call 020 7218 6162 by February 29.
