PAINTINGS by a TV set designer will be exhibited from next month.

Lynda Kettle, who was responsible for producing the sets on each episode of Howard’s Way, the hit BBC series, filmed in Hamble, is now a successful professional artist.

Her work features in the Creative Coverage exhibition at Sherfield Gallery, Hook, which runs from September 16 to November 7.

It will include a number of Lynda’s acrylic landscape paintings as well as ceramics by Andrew Matheson. Both Lynda and Andrew are elected members of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.

The exhibition will also feature work from other artists and craftspeople including; Colin Merrin, an elected member of the Royal Watercolour Society, Sara Barnes, Joanna Williams, Len Murrell, Iain White, Chris Hall, Clare Blois, Eileen Sey, Joanna Commings, DY Hide, Moira Purver, Peter Hayes and Suzie Hall.
