THE ever-popular Festival of Harbour Walks returns this year and will celebrate 31 years of walking in Chichester Harbour.

Over three consecutive days in June, walkers will be able to enjoy excellent views, good company and great walking around the beauty spot.

The walks follow shoreline footpaths and include stops at many of the picturesque harbour villages.

They will be led by guides with an extensive knowledge of the area.

The walks are between 10 to 12 miles each.

Judi Darley, who has organised the festival, said: ‘We have moved the date to June this year so hopefully we can welcome more new walkers to the festival.

‘This is always an enjoyable event and makes a great introduction to Chichester Harbour.’

Most lunch breaks will be at harbour sailing clubs and each day includes a break for coffee and cake so walkers can relax and enjoy the views.
