THE fascinating life of Henry VIII will be brought to life in a talk.

Dr Suzannah Lipscomb, who has presented programmes on Anne Boleyn for the BBC, will discuss what changed the infamous monarch.

Dr Lipscomb is the author of 1536: The Year that Changed Henry VIII and she will reveal her insights into what turned the young, handsome, athletic Henry, into the over-weight, wife-beheading tyrant he is remembered as today.

The talk is at The Spring, East Street, Havant, on March 13.
