TOYS are being collected for disadvantaged children in the area, as part of a national Christmas Gift Appeal.
Donations can be dropped off at Access Self Storage Portsmouth on behalf of the Red and White Appeal.
The firm is urging the public to open their hearts and donate new and unused presents, games and toys, at its drop-off point. They will later be collected and delivered to children nearby.
A different store will unveil its collection every day of December throughout the UK, with the Portsmouth unit hosting its gift-giving event on December 7.
Kevin Pratt, from Access Self Storage, said: ‘Christmas is a time of year to enjoy and we hope to put a smile on the faces of local children who are not as fortunate as others.’
Donations can be made at the city’s branch on Herbert Street, Portsmouth.
