PEOPLE will soon be urged to help poor villagers overseas by donating unwanted household tools.

Ian Thorburn, of volunteer group Tools With a Mission, will hold a talk at Cosham Baptist Church on February 21 on how people can give.

The talk is part of the annual general meeting of bereavement charity Help in Bereavement.

The event, which was set up by the charity, starts at 7.30pm.

The Lord Mayor of Portsmouth Councillor Cheryl Buggy and the Mayors and Mayoress’s of Gosport, Fareham and Havant will be in attendance.
