DISABLED children will be able to enjoy a host of summer activities thanks to a £4,000 donation.

Gary Robinson, a member of Havant’s Round Table and managing director of Aura Gas, found out about the work carried out by the Havant and Waterlooville branch of the national charity KIDS.

The KIDS Havant Young People’s Project, which supports disabled children in the area, was in jeopardy of closing due to council cuts.

Mr Robinson arranged for Aura Gas to make the £4,000 donation, ensuring that the club stays open for another year.

The money will provide some of the service users with family days out and enjoy the summer weather.

KIDS is a national charity that cares for over 8,000 disabled children and young people up and down the country.
