A STREET collection helped raise money for a group against animal testing.

The National Anti-Vivisection Society (NAVS), founded in 1875, is dedicated to bringing attention to the cruel, wasteful and unnecessary experiments performed on laboratory animals.

As part of World Lab Animal Week, £38.08 was raised in Portsmouth as part of a street collection which took place on Saturday, April 5.

The NAVS would like to thank the people of Portsmouth for their support.
