GENEROUS shoppers have donated nearly £1,000 to a hospital’s charity radio station.

Radio Haslar Hospital, a service which plays at Gosport War Memorial Hospital, collected £919.12 at Sainsbury’s in Broadcut, Fareham.

The station will put the money collected last month towards keeping shows on the air for both staff and patients at the hospital.

Radio Haslar currently broadcasts shows seven days a week.
