A VINTAGE tea party is being held to raise money for a women’s cancer charity.

People are being asked to dress up in vintage style and go along to Moneyfields Sports and Social Club, in Moneyfield Avenue, Copnor, tomorrow.

There will be a vintage fancy dress competition, cake baking contest and live music.

Money raised will go to the Eve Appeal, which helps women suffering from gynaecological cancers.

Lynne Madden has helped organise the event.

She said: ‘We want to raise money for this charity and hope people will come along and support it.

‘It will be family-friendly.’

The tea party takes place from 1pm to 4pm and costs £3.50 for adults to enter.

Children go free.

After the contest, all cakes will be available to buy, with money going to the charity.
