FOR the seventh year a Wickham beer festival will raise money for charity.

The event raised almost £6,000 last year and will once again be held at the Wickham Centre, in Mill Lane, Wickham. It takes place on September 10.

It will feature food during the day at the centre, a barbecue by Meon Valley Lions in the evening, music by local bands and a selection of more than 30 local beers and ciders.

Money raised will go towards good causes including Wickham Scouts and Wickham First Responders.
