A WOMAN who was seriously injured in a lorry crash on the A27 is in a stable condition.

The 32-year-old woman, from Waterlooville, was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital with serious head injuries after her car was in collision with a lorry last Thursday at the Fishbourne roundabout in Chichester.

A police spokesman said: ‘She sustained serious injuries but these are not considered life-threatening.’

The lorry driver, a 55-year-old man from Hull, Yorkshire, was treated for shock after the crash.
