IT WAS a busy night for firefighters who were called out to three small blazes within a couple of hours.

A crew from Southsea received a call to say a bin shed was on fire in Hale Road, Fratton, at 2.30am.

Just minutes later another fire was reported in a bin shed at Ibsworth House, Crasswell Street, Landport.

At 4am Cosham firefighters were called to another bin fire, this time in Derby Road, Stamshaw.

It is not known what caused the fires.
