COSHAM firefighters will be car washing in support of 10 King Richard School students who need to raise thousands of pounds to travel to Kenya and teach sports to orphans.

It is hoped the fundraising event on Saturday, May 28, will help boost funds needed by the year 10 boys and girls to join the Community Sports Foundation scheme in October.

John Fullick, extended schools co-ordinator, said: ‘This could be a life-changing experience for the students, but they have to raise £890 each.’
