Actor Andrew Agnew, who plays PC Plum in the BBC TV programme Balamory and recently appeared at the Kings Theatre in Southsea, talks about his favourite book The Witches by Roald Dahl.

'Roald Dahl's way of writing is very funny and very creative.

'This book is about a young boy who goes on holiday with his gran.

'When I was very young I used to go on holiday with my gran. Not necessarily to a hotel full of witches but to hotels kind of similar to that. I could relate to the relationship between the gran and the boy.'
