TWO engineers from BAE Systems in Portsmouth have been chosen to judge The Telegraph’s Stem Awards Defence category.

The national competition allows students from any university or college of higher education to submit a solution to one of five Stem (science, engineering, technology and maths) problems set by industry leaders.

Terry Soame and Terence Lee are looking forward to assessing what the UK’s undergraduates have to offer.

Terry said: ‘The competition is a fantastic way for BAE Systems to interact with universities and continue to encourage students to take on Stem-related subjects.

‘Stem is at the heart of what we do at BAE Systems and I’m really looking forward to seeing the entries.’
