PUPILS from King Richard School in Paulsgrove have raised around £1,000 towards a trip to Kenya.

The pupils raised the money by taking part in the annual Dragon Boat Festival which takes place every year at Lakeside North Harbour.

The money will go towards the students’ proposed trip to a school in Kenya. The festival is run jointly by the Rotary Clubs of Portsmouth and Southsea and Southsea Castle.
