THE Bishop of Portsmouth will pay a visit to a city school.

Bishop Philip Egan will make an official visit to St Edmund’s Catholic School on Monday, February 10 at 10am.

It will be Bishop Philip’s first official visit to the school since being ordained Bishop of Portsmouth.

The visit will include a formal liturgy of welcome as well as a tour of the school and meetings with pupils and staff.

Bishop Philip is visiting all the Catholic schools in the diocese over the next year and St Edmund’s will be the first Catholic school in the city to welcome him.
