VISITORS have been flocking to Chichester Cathedral to catch a glimpse of the famous peregrine falcons and their chicks.

One of the four eggs hatched on Tuesday after several days of anticipation.

All the action is being caught on a live webcam and visitors are being given binoculars and telescopes to get a closer look at the birds.

The Date With Nature project is being run by the RSPB.

Molly Dailide, from RSPB south east, said: ‘Peregrine falcons are one of the most exciting animals in the world and Chichester Cathedral is one of the best places in the UK to see them.

‘We’d love everyone to come along and have an unforgettable experience viewing and learning about these amazing creatures.’
