A PARTY to mark a school’s 40th anniversary is taking place later this month.

Crofton School in Stubbington opened in 1974, and now staff and students past and present are being invited to celebrate at a reunion on Saturday, September 20 at Ferneham Hall from 7.30pm.

Organiser Ken Shearsmith said: ‘The school has always been regarded within the community and by the children as something special.’

Tickets are free but with a donation to charity. Visit croftonreunion.org.uk.
