CHILDREN will take part in different sporting activities at a special event.

The multi sports event will take place at the Mountbatten Centre on Monday, March 17.

Greg Joys, a masters student at the University of Portsmouth is organising the event.

He said: ‘We hope that the event will be a fun morning, which will give an opportunity for children to take part in sports that they have not before, and also demonstrate that there are many sports that can be played by all no matter of ability.’
