AN EXHIBITION is to be held at the Spinnaker Tower to celebrate children being chosen as finalists in Royal Mail’s Christmas stamp design competition.

The tower will be showcasing 13 designs from children aged between four and 11, whose entries have been chosen as the best in the region. They are part of 140 to have been short-listed UK-wide from 240,000 entries.

Sarah Webb, general manager of Spinnaker Tower, said: ‘We are delighted to be able to show the impressive artistic work of the children, who have been successful in the regional final in the south west.

‘Visitors to the Spinnaker Tower will be able to see what can be achieved with a little paint and a great imagination.’

The entries will go through to the next stage of the competition where local judges will select their top two entries to represent the region in the national final.

The stamps will be on sale from Tuesday, November 5. The exhibition will run from Monday, October 7.
