RAISING aspirations will be the theme of a huge youth conference tomorrow.

Year 9 and 10 pupils from all 10 senior schools in the Havant and Waterlooville area have been invited to the conference at The Plaza in Havant.

Among the speakers will be Joanne White, founder of the Leigh Park charity Big World Impact and young entrepreneur and self-made millionaire Fraser Docherty, who started his own business at the age of 14 selling fruit jam.

There will be workshops and information stands, as well as a question-and-answer session.

In the hot seat will be the leader of Havant Borough Council, Councillor Mike Cheshire, and the Mayor of Havant, Marjorie Smallcorn.

Young people will also be invited to cast their vote for one of three projects which support children in the Havant borough.

Short films from Havant Home Start, Off The Record and Southern Domestic Abuse Service will be shown and pupils will choose who funding should go to.
