CELEBRATIONS were held to mark a decade of business for a children’s nursery.

Good Manors Day Nursery in Fareham marked its 10-year anniversary with celebrations for children and adults alike.

The nursery in Miller Drive opened in October 2004 by sisters Jane Bennett and Katharine Galliford.

Staff laid on a variety of activities, with entertainment being provided by a magician, much to the children’s amusement.

A tea party was laid on for the guests, with a celebratory home-made cake provided by Janette O’Carroll.

Attendees at the celebrations included the mayor of Fareham councillor David Norris who was accompanied by mayoress Pamela Norris.

Katharine Galliford director and owner of the nursery, said: ‘We have seen the nursery thrive over the years, into an established and reputable 60-place day nursery.

‘Building on our reputation, we are excited to announce that we will have bought another day nursery, which will be opening in Portsmouth, early next year.’
