A SPECIAL school has been donated a new ‘Variety Sunshine Coach’ to help with the transport of children to off site activities.

Heathfield School in Fareham received the donation from children’s charity Variety as part of property developer Crest Nicholson’s latest fundraising efforts.

A school spokesperson said: ‘It will be used every day and it enables the children to access a variety of off-site locations and to broaden their educational experiences.’

This is the third coach that developer Crest Nicholson has provided to Heathfield.

Children’s charity Variety provides help for sick, disabled or disadvantaged children and their families across the UK.

Mike Haszko, head of corporate fundraising at Variety, said: ‘Crest Nicholson have been long-standing supporters of Variety, and the company’s commitment to our work over many years has immeasurably improved the lives of thousands of children.’
