STUDENTS from a school in Petersfield had a visit from Olympic diver Peter Waterfield.

He visited Bedales School as part of the gifted and talented sports programme.

Peter, from Southampton, who won an Olympic silver medal in Athens and partnered Tom Daley at London 2012, helped students to develop dive techniques and gave a talk on his Olympic career.

Dominic Oliver, managing head of Bedales, said: ‘Our students have learned a great deal from the Olympians visiting Bedales, not least that dedication is the key to achievement.’
