TEAMS of GCSE students at Miltoncross School demonstrated their business acumen in an enterprise challenge.
The year 11 boys and girls who took part in the Portsmouth and South East Hampshire Education Business Partnership (EBP) Grand Designs exercise planned, designed and created the interior of a three-bedroom house on a budget of £7,500.
On top of that, they had to come up with a company name and logo to market their end product.
Teams were supported throughout the day by EBP business ambassadors Rhoderick Davies, Beverley Gent from Stokes Solicitors and Sue Harrison and Tanya Hills, both from The Listening Company.
Student Kieran Brown said: ‘I had a great day.
‘I worked with people I hadn’t done before and it taught me about the importance of communication and teamwork.’
