An interactive exhibition that tells the tale of how to design a mobile application to help adoptive parents has opened to the public.

‘Design Thinking in Practice’ is the result of a collaboration between University of Portsmouth students, IBM designers who acted as mentors, and Catchpoint, a charity for adoptive parents.

Final year digital media students from the University were tasked with creating an app designed to give advice to adoptive parents on how to manage difficult situations.

Visitors will be able to learn about the project and make their own designs for the app.

The exhibition runs at the Eldon building until 21st January 2015.

Entry is free.
