FUTURE students were given a taste of life in their new classes.
More than 120 pupils from primary schools across the area spent last week at Neville Lovett Community School in Fareham. The taster week was aimed at introducing them to life at senior school.
Students were given a timetable which let them explore each department and see the busy school in action.
Headteacher Nadine Powrie said: ‘A comfortable transition from primary to secondary school is really important at Neville Lovett.
‘We aim to make sure there are no concerns or worries about the unknown by inviting future students to the school for a week of introductions, lessons and fun activities.
‘This year’s taster week went really well. Everyone got stuck in and seemed to really enjoy themselves.’
