SECONDARY school pupils proved they had what it takes to come top in a mathematics challenge.

A team of Year 10 pupils from The Henry Cort Community College in Fareham, brought home the trophy from the St Vincent’s College mathematics challenge.

Three schools took part, split into 10 teams.

Henry Cort was crowned the best and Brookfield won the individual round.

On the winning team were Katie Brooks, Kathryn Dale, Farid Djebara, Letitia Dollamore, Lewis Donovan, Olivia Hawkins, Matthew May, Craig Mitchell, Adam Perry, Callum Pickett-Smith, Daisy Pollock-Gray, Daniel Raper, Alison Romaine, Victoria Shaw, Joe Skilton and Chloe Woolford.

Executive principal Phil Munday said: ‘We are exceptionally proud.’
