UNIVERSITY students are on the hunt for an actress to play a councillor in a film.

The group of four film and media students at the University of Portsmouth need the actress for a psychological drama called Cassandra.

The film follows its titular character as she struggles to navigate reality.

Paige Woolford, from the group, said the filming will be at three locations across the city.

Miss Woolford, 20, said: ‘Rehearsals should be this week and filming will be the following week.

‘We are filming it because it is part of a film dissertation and will be assessed and marked. The role we are looking for is a female lead – Dr Dramani – a councillor. I hope someone will help us.’
