CHILDREN learnt about the importance of fire safety from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Schools Education Team (SET).
Milton Park Infant School, Eastney Road, Portsmouth, were visited by the team after learning about the Great Fire of London.
Helen Johnson, Key Stage One leader, said: ‘We wanted to show the children how lucky we are to have a fire service and compare it to the 1600s.
‘We always like to relate our topics in a way that makes it a lot more real for the children.’
The children took part in a range of activities that had them making key decisions when it comes to fire safety.
SET travels to schools to promote fire safety to youngsters of all ages.
