A ‘FIELD of Hope’ is being created next to a school to remember lost loved ones.

A beautiful display of daffodils is planned along the perimeter of Park Community School, in Middle Park Way, Leigh Park.

The school is supporting the Marie Curie Cancer Care Great Daffodil Appeal 2015, which aims to raise funds by planting daffodil bulbs to bloom next spring.

Jane Alder, from the school, said: ‘When the daffodils bloom in spring, a banner will be displayed along the edge of the school site dedicated to those who are being remembered.

‘It will not just be for spring next year, but year after year, creating a lasting legacy.’

Anyone wishing to take part and plant a bulb can call Emma Holland, community assistant, on (023) 9248 9811.
