A FORMER teacher has lost a personal injury claim against an education authority.

Sheri Stradling had said ‘extreme psychological violence’ was used against her at Brune Park Community College in Gosport.

But judge Iain Hughes QC dismissed her £225,000 claim, brought under the civil section of the Protection From Harassment Act.

Angus Piper, for defendant Hampshire County Council, had told the court her claim stemmed from a conspiracy theory she had that was not true.

He said: ‘It’s a conspiracy that existed only in her mind and it’s not grounded in reality.’

The judgment means Mrs Stradling, of Wade Court Road, Havant, will get nothing. She was assistant principal at the school in 2007 and 2008.

The county council said it had no comment.
