YOUNGSTERS had the fitness experience of their early lives when they were coached by a fun-loving professional instructor.
Pupils at Meon Juniors, in Southsea, could not contain their smiles as they took part in aerobics, dancing and sports competitions with upbeat music playing in the background, as pictured on the front page. Each year group spent an hour with Carl McKnight, also known as Freddy Fit – who showed them how to exercise.
Steve Bayliss, assistant head, said: ‘The children had a fantastic time and we are definitely planning to have Freddy Fit back for more sessions.
‘The activities were set to music and everyone was on a high because they were having so much fun. Freddy Fit also taught the children important health lessons like drinking lots of water, getting a good night’s sleep, exercising daily and packing in lots of fruit and vegetables.’
