THE organiser of a school community fair is calling on charities and local groups to come forward and book a free stall at the event.

The Admiral Lord Nelson School Community Fayre is taking place in Dundas Lane, Copnor, on June 25.

An annual event, it supports community groups alongside the school, and this year there are around 140 stalls available.

Janice Andrews, chairman of the Parents, Students and Staff Association, said: ‘We want to help the community, so I’m encouraging registered charities and local groups to promote themselves and get in touch with us.

‘We can sort out what they can use it for.’
